The “Red Alert KZN” Emergency App is a mobile security application that also transforms your smartphone into a personal alarm management tool. When activated your Geolocation will be pinpointed and shared with Red Alert KZN’s 24-hour control room. Red Alert Operators will make initial contact with you to establish the exact nature of your emergency. A Primary Contact person will be notified and a range of appropriate emergency response services will be mobilised. Where necessary your uploaded personal image will be shared with emergency services to assist them in identifying you. The range of user friendly features extend beyond the Apps primary emergency functions. The App interfaces with monitored domestic and business alarm systems and signal traffic is streamed to your Inbox where breaking crime news and general messaging also appear as notifications. Armed response calls can easily be cancelled without needing to talk to an operator using secure password protected functionality. For additional convenience users can submit Temporary Holiday Instructions and log Sales or Technical Enquiries related to their alarm systems. This technological innovation provides additional peace of mind 24/7 whilst also ensuring that you are always kept abreast of any activity associated with your connected alarm sites - wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing.
